Job Title: Physiotherapist/ Occupational Therapist (Part-time)

Recope is a long standing non-profit organization that has been serving the District of Summerland since 1976. At Recope, we provide medically designed and supervised therapeutic land based and aquatic exercise programs for adults with medical challenges to help them get moving, feel stronger, experience less pain and reclaim an active and independent life. This program empowers individuals to maintain their health through fitness activities.
The Opportunity:
We're seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist/ Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. We provide services for adults of all ages with a wide range of medical challenges including orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, mental health and persistent pain management. You will conduct basic patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, educate participants on self-care, injury prevention, and will maintain accurate and timely patient records.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy/ Occupational Therapist
Valid registration/licensing.
Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
A passion for helping people and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Individuals with Nursing or Kinesiology degrees and experience in physical rehabilitation may also be considered for this opportunity. Training in aquatic therapy can be provided.
This position will operate out of the Summerland Aquatic and Fitness Centre for approximately 6 to 10 hours per week.
