Occupational Therapist

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting and a strong background in patient care. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through tailored therapy programs.

*Duties*

* Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance their ability to perform daily activities.
* Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with medical standards.
* Stay current with medical terminology and best practices in occupational therapy to provide the highest quality of care.
* Participate in case management activities to facilitate continuity of care for patients transitioning between different levels of service.

*Requirements*

* A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
* Previous hospital experience is preferred, particularly in acute care settings.
* Experience working with patients is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and case management principles.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $52.00-$53.00 per hour
