WFOT Public Statement - Transitioning from Diploma-Level Occupational Therapy Education

A new WFOT Public Statement on the topic of ‘Transitioning from Diploma-Level Occupational Therapy Education’ reflects discussions held at focus groups during the 2022 WFOT Council Meeting regarding the findings of an education survey conducted by WFOT with member organisations in 2021. The statement identifies strategies and actions necessary to support a transition to degree-level education for all occupational therapy programmes, as required by the Minimum Standards for the Education of Occupational Therapists developed by WFOT.
