In 2021, Order No. A/749 MoH approved the “Direction and Plan for the Development of Rehabilitation Services,” requiring healthcare institutions to implement evidence-based, team-based rehabilitation practices. This directive ensures that hospitals with rehabilitation departments employ occupational therapists, which increased job opportunities and raised the profession's profile.
