The Argentine Association of Occupational Therapists (AATO) regrets to announce the loss of our beloved colleague Lucila Moreno (07/04/2025)
With over 40 years of professional experience in paediatrics, she generously supported the development of many colleagues, promoted occupational therapy in our country and was Jean Ayres's initial translator in Argentina. She represented AATO as an alternate delegate to WFOT since 2016, serving on the team for the development of QUEST, always displaying a great willingness and ideas to continue bringing OT to new places. Her presence and support were key and necessary for the development of our association's WFOT Chapter. Always passionate and committed to AATO and the profession, Lucila worked incredibly hard to make our 50th Anniversary yearbook possible. Her memory also lives on at our headquarters through the actions she carried out that made its renovation possible that summer before the pandemic shut everything down. Dear Lucila, thank you for your generous and noble soul, your joyful spirit, and your bright smile. It hurts so much to have to say goodbye. We're going to miss you Lucila!!!
