Occupational Therapist (OT) Short-Term Opportunity
Were looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our collaborative team in a K8 school environment near Newbury, MA. This is a short-term, on-site role that provides a rewarding chance to support students facing physical, developmental, or sensory challengeshelping them succeed in both academic and social settings.
Position Details:
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Thursday
Duration: September through the end of November
Grades: Kindergarten through 8th grade
Location: On-site
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting both standardized and functional assessments to evaluate student needs
Collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized IEP goals
Delivering focused therapy sessions that enhance student independence, participation, and classroom skills
Ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with school district and state policies
Requirements:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts (required)
Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
