We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated *Band 7 Senior Occupational Therapist* with a background in neurorehabilitation. *Key Responsibilities*
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation and support tailored to each client’s individual needs. Your duties will include:
* Carrying out specialist assessments and developing personalised, evidence-based treatment plans
* Collaborating with physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and other healthcare professionals
* Supporting clients with complex needs, including those with behavioural challenges
* Managing your own caseload efficiently, including supervision of junior staff and students
* Leading on service development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
* Delivering educational sessions and promoting best practice across the team
* Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring professional standards are met
*What We’re Looking For*
*Essential Criteria:*
* Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in neurology, stroke care, and/or neurorehabilitation
* Confidence in assessing and treating adults with complex neurological conditions (e.g. acquired brain injury)
* Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team and contributing to person-centred care planning
* Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and report writing skills
* Ability to work well under pressure with a high level of attention to detail
