Sunbelt Staffing, a leading education and healthcare staffing agency, is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and provide exceptional services to a school district near Petersburg, VA.This is a contract position starting this Fall.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals
Qualifications:
Active Virginia OT License
Prior experience in a school setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Strong organizational and time management skills
