Remote Occupational Therapist in MI

Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced professional to support K-12 students in a virtual setting for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers flexibility and the chance to make a significant impact on students' lives by enhancing their learning experiences through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse needs.
Implement innovative occupational therapy strategies to support students' academic goals.
Collaborate with educators and parents to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Provide guidance and resources to school staff regarding best practices for supporting students with disabilities.
Document and track student progress, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Valid occupational therapy license and school-based certification.
Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a virtual environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and digital assessment tools.
Demonstrated ability to create individualized treatment plans that align with students' unique goals.
