*\*\*Occupational Therapist\*\* / \*\*Job Summary\*\* *

Looking for a *Supervising* *OTR* that is consistently available to assist 5-10hrs per week, fluctuating w/ skilled admissions.

*Facility Information:*

Royal Oak provides an inviting, home-like environment conveniently located near I-72 and I-480. We offer full-time residential care and short-term rehabilitation services.Our 90-bed facility has private rehabilitation suites and semi-private long-term suites.

\*\*Responsibilities:\*\*

- Supervise full time/part time/prn COTAs

- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.

- Provide direct patient care through therapeutic exercises and modalities.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

- Utilize medical terminology effectively in patient interactions.

- Implement interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence.

- Participate in case management and discharge planning processes.

\*\*Qualifications:\*\*

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

- Experience working with pediatric and adult populations in hospital or clinical settings.

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.

- Familiarity with ICU and acute care environments is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient service.

- Proficiency in case management and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Pay: From $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
