The therapy staff and interdisciplinary team strive to create a comprehensive care plan that is unique to each short-term, outpatient, or long-term patient. *Responsibilities*
-Supervising COTAs on staff
- Implement individualized care plans for patients requiring speech therapy, utilizing critical care and acute care experience.
- Conduct patient assessments, including standardized testing
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to develop effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Qualifications
- Must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Occupational Therapist.
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing care plans.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
