Key Duties:
Conduct evaluations to assess students' motor skills, sensory processing abilities and other areas of occupational performance
Collaborate with parents, teachers and other educational team members to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with occupational therapy needs
Recommend and provide training on the use of equipment and assistive technology to support accessibility of students
Collaborate with other teachers and professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into curriculum and classroom activities
Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Texas state OT license or eligibility to acquire one.
Completion of a Master's degree program in Occupational Therapy.
Ideally, prior experience in a school-based setting.
Exceptional communication abilities.
Pay rate of $45+ per hour, based on prior schools experience
