Online School Occupational Therapist (OT) Position in Washington

Position: Full-time or Part-time Occupational Therapist

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our online team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with patients of all ages to assess their functional abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and facilitate their engagement in meaningful daily activities. You will play a key role in promoting health, well-being, and independence for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and sensory abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional skills, including activities of daily living (ADLs) and adaptive techniques.
Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and speech therapists to ensure coordinated care.
Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed.

Qualifications:

Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current WashingtonState license (or eligibility to obtain license).
Experience in a clinical setting, preferably with diverse patient populations.
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
