*What do you need to be successful?*
* You are client-centered, target co-creation, and enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
* You have strong verbal/written communication skills
* You use good judgement and apply critical thinking when making clinical decisions
* You have demonstrated commitment to professional development

*Qualifications:*
* You have a University Degree in Occupational Therapy
* You are a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
* You have a valid Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
* A minimum of 1 year of general OT mental health experience
* Completion of at least one of the following courses: CBT, ACT, DBT

*What is a day in the life of a FA OT Psychotherapist?*
* You will assess and treat individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges ranging from PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, panic, bipolar disorder, BPD, adjustment disorder, grief and loss, and emotional overwhelm.
* Many of the clients you will support are First Responders and Public Safety Personnel
* You will assist clients with establishing and meeting meaningful goals within their home and in a community setting, including addressing quality of life and return to work
* You will create and implement individualized treatment plans based on occupational analysis and clinical reasoning
* You will liaise with WSIB and community mental health partners and rehab professionals, including Psychologists and Psychotherapists, to facilitate client goals and independence
