APPLY NOW! We seek a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist, OT/OTR to join our team at a skilled nursing facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' strengths, limitations, and goals

Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's needs and goals

Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and strategies for independent living

Document patients' progress and update treatment plans as needed

Stay current with advances in occupational therapy by attending professional development opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

New passer/graduates are welcome

With Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care, experience is a plus

Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT) is a plus

A California license to practice Occupational Therapy is required

BLS Certifications are required

Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards is required

Interest in working with the geriatric population

Graduate of a program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)

Knowledge of the nursing process and standards of care for skilled nursing facilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health records
