Seeking a school based OT position? As a school basedOccupational Therapist (OT)at a on-site position in Newburyport, MA, you will provide individualized and group therapy to support students in developing the skills they need to succeed in their academic and social lives. Join the team for the remaining of the school year and going into the new school year for a full-time position!
Key Responsibilities:
- Dates: April 28th, 2025 until November 28th, 2025
- Covering Maternity Coverage Leave
- Hours: 8:15AM-2:15PM (30 hours per week)
- Caseload: 30 Students with Pre-K through Kindergarten
- Onsite only
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
- Knowledge of IEP development and educational systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to fit diverse student needs.
- Familiarity with sensory processing issues and motor development.
