Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical, psychological, and cognitive abilities to determine their occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their functional abilities
- Provide therapy interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, balance, and strength
- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance their independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on strategies for managing daily activities and promoting overall well-being
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a healthcare setting
- Experience in speech therapy, hospital, case management, ICU, and pediatrics is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and their implications for occupational therapy
