*Overview*
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.
As an OT, you will help patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities. This role requires creativity, dedication, and a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques.
*Responsibilities*
* Provide occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with their individualized treatment plans
* Conduct assessments to identify patients' strengths and areas needing improvement
* Develop and implement treatment plans to enhance patients' independence and daily living skills
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
* Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
* Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to address patients' needs
*Requirements*
* Current MN Occupational Therapist license required.
* Experience or knowledge in speech therapy, discharge planning, early intervention, case management, and medical terminology
* Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy required.
* Ability to work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and pediatric population
* Proficiency in anatomy knowledge related to occupational therapy practice
* Strong interpersonal skills and a caring demeanor
* Previous experience in outpatient settings is a plus
This position may require floating to other local facilities.
*Contract Duration:* 13 weeks
