*About the Role:*
Nursdoc Healthcare Recruitment is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Disability Service within the Community Learning Disability and Autism Team in Guernsey. This position provides a chance to deliver high-quality, client-centered Occupational Therapy services in a stunning island location — with accommodation and travel costs fully covered.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Manage a defined caseload within the Adult Community Learning Disability and Autism Team
* Deliver assessments, plan and implement interventions using evidence-based practice
* Collaborate with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to set and achieve realistic goals
* Contribute to service development, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives
* Maintain professional standards and participate in ongoing CPD and supervision
*Requirements:*
* Degree in Occupational Therapy
* DBS on update service or issued within the last 12 months
* HCPC registration
* Available for an 18 week contract starting ASAP
* Experience with Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders
* Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and IT skills
* Full UK Category B driving license
*Desirable:*
* Knowledge of sensory integration approaches
* Experience in community-based interventions and autism-focused care
