Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist

Location:2940 E Banner Gateway Drive, Suite 425 Gilbert, AZ 85234

Incentives: $10,000 Bonus and Student Debt Benefit

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation: Salaried, starting at $74,000 and up, commensurate with experience, PLUS $5,000 Sign-on Bonus and Student Debt Benefit Program

Banner Phyiscal Therapy seeking a full-time Hand Therapist-OTR for our outpatient orthopedic center located in Gilbert, AZ. We can mentor an occupational therapist aspiring to be a certified hand therapist. We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support. Responsibilities:
Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy and state OT License required
Experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedics is required
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Valid driver’s license
