*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapy services to patients in a Day Care setting. The Occupational Therapist will focus on improving patients' ability to perform daily activities and enhance their overall quality of life through tailored treatment plans and interventions.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
* Utilize therapeutic techniques to assist patients in improving their functional abilities.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure coordinated care.
* Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
* *Qualifications*
* Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience in geriatrics, skilled nursing facilities, or home health preferred.
* Strong knowledge of physiology and its application in therapeutic interventions.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Commitment to providing compassionate care that respects the dignity of each patient.
