What You Bring to the Team:

Registration (member in good standing) with Ontario's Provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
Solid experience in assessing and treating adults - WSIB, MVA, and private clients with complex musculoskeletal, neurological (mTBI), and mental health conditions.
Experience in Occupational and Veterans Rehabilitation and Mental Health is a significant asset.
Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
Excellent oral, written and report-writing skills.
Proficiency with computers and new technology.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
Must have own vehicle and a valid Driver's license.

Your Day-to-Day:

A diverse caseload with assessment and treatment of clients funded by WSIB with complex musculoskeletal, TBI and mental health challenges.
Educating clients on pacing, pain, cognitive behavioural strategies, and task modification strategies to help improve function.
Flexibility to work in person or virtually, with the ability to structure your schedule to meet your needs and the needs of your clientele.
Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions, submitting reports to stakeholders in a timely manner, and creating and implementing holistic, individualized treatment plans based on critical analysis and clinical reasoning.
Managing caseload in a fast-paced multidisciplinary work environment.
Participating in case conferences and case management.
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, various stakeholders, and other occupational therapists.
Supporting return-to-work programs
