*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in various settings including homecare, skilled nursing facilities, and acute care environments. This role is essential in helping individuals achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.
*Duties*
* Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans to address their specific goals.
* Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' abilities in daily living and work activities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes using medical terminology.
* Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
* Work with post operative care, neurological disorders and to improve functional skills.
*Qualifications*
* Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience in home health, acute care settings, skilled nursing facilities
* Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices is essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
* Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
Job Types: PRN, Contract, Per diem
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
