We’re looking for a dedicated and innovative Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) setting. This unique opportunity allows you to blend the strengths of occupational therapy with evidence-based behavioral strategies to support individuals in reaching their highest level of independence and success.
As an OTR in our ABA environment, you’ll work closely with behavior analysts, technicians, and families to develop holistic interventions that support sensory regulation, motor development, and daily living skills—while aligning with behavior plans that foster meaningful, functional outcomes. Together, we create a consistent, supportive framework that empowers clients to thrive across settings.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
* Provide individualized evaluations, during which the client/family and Occupational Therapist determine the clients' goals.
* Create a customized intervention plan to improve the clients’ ability to perform daily activities and reach the goals set forth in the plan of care.
* Evaluate outcomes and ensure that goals are being met. Make plan adjustments as needed.
* Provide direct treatment sessions as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Master’s degree from an ACOTE certified degree program. (Bachelor's degree acceptable if obtained prior to 2007).
* Active Tennessee licensure.
* Preference for those credentialed with payors.
* Pediatric experience preferred.
* Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals.
* Dedication to ethical standards and professional development.
Physical Requirements:
* Physical capabilities include walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching above head, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
