Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
Deliver evidence-based ADL training, therapeutic exercise, and adaptive-equipment education under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Assist in evaluating and progressing individualized care plans for patients with dementia and related conditions.
Track and document outcomes, reporting changes promptly to the OT and broader care team.
Educate patients—and staff when appropriate—on safe transfers, fall-prevention, and cognitive-compensation strategies.
Uphold a culture of safety by maintaining equipment, following security protocols, and ensuring a therapeutic environment at all times.
Qualifications:
What You’ll Bring
Accredited OTA degree and active (or eligible) Ohio OTA license with NBCOT certification.
Experience in geriatrics, or memory-care populations.
Ability to work confidently and independently while staying in close alignment with your supervising OT.
Pay Range: USD $35.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
