*Position Overview*
The *Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)* is a vital member of the IDT, assisting with care planning and condition updates while providing restorative and rehabilitative services at the center and in participants’ homes. Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, you will help maximize participant independence and ensure safety during ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).
*Qualifications*
* *Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program*.
* Valid *California Occupational Therapy Assistant License* (or proof of eligibility).
* Reliable transportation.
* Minimum *2 years of experience* as a COTA in a clinical setting, working with frail or elderly populations.
* Strong knowledge of therapy techniques for complex elderly needs.
