*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality patient care. This role is essential in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life through targeted therapeutic interventions.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living training, and mobility assistance.
* Document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising therapist.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following infection control protocols.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
*Experience*
* Previous is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles.
* Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is a plus.
* Proven ability to assist patients effectively while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
