On June 5th, 1972, at 6 p.m, in the conference room of the Central Military Hospital of Bogotá, 52 occupational therapists met to constitute the Colombian Association of Occupational Therapy.

In this session the first statutes were approved and the first Board of Directors was elected .

On June 5th, 2022, our guild organization, currently called the Colombian College of Occupational Therapy, celebrates its 50 year anniversary.

On this date we celebrate with profound pride and emotion by paying tribute to our founders and to all the people that through their hard work have kept their purpose and dreams alive for more than half a century, and we share this moment with its collegiate, the community of professionals, students and organizations that have supported so many projects and achievements.

On this anniversary lets be together around the initiative, collective strength and spirit of our scientific and guild organization; to renew vows by celebrating who we are, what we stand for and the future we intend to continue building.
