Canadian OT Receives Highest Honour

CAOT congratulates occupational therapist Helene Polatajko who was recently awarded the Order of Canada by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada. An internationally acclaimed researcher, educator, and practitioner, Helene was granted the title of Officer of the Order of Canada for her work in advancing the understanding of developmental coordination disorder in children. She joins three other Canadian OTs – Rachel Thibeault, Karen Goldenberg, and Mary Law – who have previously been appointed to this honour as recognition of their outstanding achievement, dedication to the community, and service to the nation.

New Practice Resource Hub Now Live

CAOT has launched its new online Practice Resource Hub to provide relevant, reliable, and diverse bilingual resources that reflect best guidelines related to dozens of different practice areas within occupational therapy for OTs, OTAs, and students.
