Australia’s 2021 National OT Conference Moves Online
Australia delivered two major virtual conferences in 2020 to connect OTs from across Australia and our WFOT peers in Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, USA, UK and Singapore—a testament to the OT community’s support and enthusiasm for online learning. As we navigate the year ahead, delegate safety and quality of learning remain our top priorities. With this in mind, Australia’s 29th National Conference and Exhibition 2021 (#OTAUS2021) will proceed as a virtual event taking place online 23-25 June 2021.
While the conference will be virtual, we are supporting a number of networking opportunities through in-person engagement hubs for local delegates, and online meeting hub for remote delegates. Proceeding with this format enables us to provide you every opportunity to learn, engage, and network without the uncertainty of potential restrictions impacting travel plans.
If you are an international delegate and have any questions about the new format or opportunities to engage remotely, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
Learn with #OTAUS2021
The Scientific Program is being adapted to provide a high-quality experience with virtual delivery of Keynote and Invited Speaker presentations, panel sessions, workshops, occupation stations, and ePosters sessions. Many plenary sessions will take place on Wednesday, with choice and flexibility to move between concurrent sessions on Thursday and Friday. The virtual format enables on-demand access to concurrent sessions for up to 45 days post-conference.
Engage with #OTAUS2021
The engagement hubs on day 1 (Wednesday 23 June) will provide opportunities for face-to-face networking—something we know can be harder to replicate online. In addition to the hubs, the virtual conference platform offers delegates many ways to connect online via instant messages, video calls, and chat feeds.
More information on registration, scientific program, sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities, and engagement hubs is available on the conference website. We look forward to seeing you in June to share Inspired Insights for Brighter Futures.
