New competencies for occupational therapists in Canada. The multi-year CORECOM/CANCOM project has produced a single competency document to describe entry-to-practice competencies and competencies used throughout the span of occupational therapy practice. Aging in Place virtual conference November 23-26, 2021. Registration opens September 15th!
‘Home is where the heart is: Creating opportunities for aging in place’ is a virtual multi-track, multi-disciplinary learning event being hosted by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) and being co-constructed with older adults to immerse delegates in a unique and inclusive forum for generating ideas, information and exchange. Thought leaders from the field of aging; including professionals, advocates, champions and the older adults and caregivers who are living the aging experience, are invited to get involved in an upcoming conference November 23rd to 26th 2021.
