Risk assessments for Occupational Therapists

This half-day course will consider the use of risk assessments as a tool to assist with clinical decisions as an Occupational Therapist working in the community.

The course will cover the principles of risk assessment and risk management and how a risk assessment, which may be in conjunction with a “best interests” decision, informs an Occupational Therapy functional assessment and decision on interventions such as provision of equipment and adaptations.

Please note this is a UK course based on UK circumstances but available to all Occupational Therapists.
