We are currently looking for an additional Occupational Therapist to join our team on a Per-Diem or Part Time basis. As the OT, you will direct COTA’s and other rehab members with regards to patient treatments and development. The ideal candidate is able to contribute to patients’ care plans in a Skilled Nursing (SNF) setting.
Overview of the Position:
As an OT, you will play a pivotal role providing all aspects of quality patient care. This includes: evaluation and treatment, care planning, family education and documentation of patient development.
Essential Job Functions:
Develops treatment plan and provide treatment, consistent with benefit and reimbursement level for best functional outcome for patient.
Appropriately and effectively completes documentation including evaluations, daily progress notes, summaries, or monthly reports in PCC (Point Click Care).
Achieves quality patient care through interdisciplinary co-op, co-treatment, setting up protocols and programs.
Provides COTA’s clear directives concerning patients and treatment plans prior to initiation of patient care.
Confers with Program Specialists and supervisor to develop and implement new programs/techniques to enhance program utilization.
Makes appropriate referrals to other members of the rehab team.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited institution for Occupational Therapy
OT license in good standing in California
PCC Experience preferred, but not required
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred, but not required
CPR/BLS Certification active
Pay Range: Minimum of $56/hour and up depending on experience
Schedule: Part-Time or PRN
