iSARAH: RA Hand Exercise Training

The Strengthening And stretching for Rheumatoid Arthritis of the Hand (SARAH) programme is a 12-week progressive strengthening and stretching exercise programme for people with rheumatoid arthritis affecting their hands. The programme includes behavioural strategies to encourage patient adherence. The programme is recommended in the NICE Guidelines for Rheumatoid Arthritis in adults.

iSARAH is a free online training on how to deliver the SARAH programme to patients. It has four brief modules and takes 3-4 hours to complete. A training certificate and SARAH programme text materials for patient and therapist use can be downloaded upon completion. Create an account at https://isarah.octru.ox.ac.uk to access the training.
