*Job Description:* As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will work alongside an experienced therapy team to provide patient-centered care in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will assist in evaluating patients, implementing therapy plans, and supporting individuals in achieving their maximum independence. Your role will be critical in helping patients improve their functional abilities and overall quality of life.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients
* Collaborate with occupational therapists to evaluate patient progress
* Monitor and document patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
* Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout their recovery process
* Maintain clear and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
*Requirements:*
* Current COTA certification
* Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or similar setting preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
