We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. *Job Description:*
* Assist Occupational Therapists in providing therapeutic interventions and developing individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs in a skilled nursing setting.
* Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises and functional activities, to improve mobility, strength, and daily living skills.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and improved patient outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for self-care, injury prevention, and enhancing daily living abilities.
*Qualifications:*
* Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of practice.
* Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred, but not required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
