Atlanta, Georgia area Occupational Therapist Current Schoolyear Part-Time Need

ProCare Therapy is thrilled to hire a Occupational Therapist for the 2024-2025 school year. Were partnering with a district that needs part-time support for a 6th-8thgrade caseload. While they prefer candidates with school-based experience, all qualified OTs are welcome to apply. Interviews are being arranged, so submit your resume now!

Job Details:
Onsite location near the Atlanta, Georgia area
Start ASAP
Up to 3 days of guaranteed services per week
# students/sites and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services director during interview

Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
Implement evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks.
Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals.
Collaborate with other members of the school team, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure students receive comprehensive and coordinated services.
Provide education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state license in Georgia
Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
